#1 Create your own Copilot using Semantic Kernel (Reactor series- GenAI for software
9:00 AM - 10:00 AM (UTC)
As AI tools become increasingly embedded in our daily lives, it is crucial for developers to not only use them but also to understand them, build upon them, and seamlessly incorporate them into applications to remain relevant. Fortunately, one does not need a Phd or prior knowledge in AI, ML, or LLMs; with powerful open-source libraries like Microsoft's Semantic Kernel and services like Azure OpenAI service, integrating the prowess of LLMs into your .NET applications was never easier. Join us to discover how using C# and .NET you can build your own Copilot and AI-able applications that will propel your projects into the future Visit Microsoft Learn to discover free AI learning courses -https://learn.microsoft.com/ai/?wt.mc_id=slidescontent_21718_webinar_reactor Register to the Whole Series- https://developer.microsoft.com/reactor/series/S-1273?wt.mc_id=slidescontent_21718_webinar_reactor If you signed up for this series, you probably won't want to miss this one either – https://developer.microsoft.com/reactor/series/S-1271?wt.mc_id=slidescontent_21718_webinar_reactor

#2 Stopping the Copilot FOMO (Reactor series- GenAI for software developers)
9:00 AM - 10:00 AM (UTC)
In the fast-paced realm of technology, the buzz around GitHub Copilot is undeniable. It's the talk of the town, and we can't help but wonder: "What exactly is Copilot, and what magic does it hold?" Join me on this thrilling tech journey as we venture into the heart of Copilot, aiming to calm the FOMO and embrace its boundless possibilities. As a devoted early adopter and open-source maintainer, I'll unveil the essence of Copilot, explore its remarkable features like Copilot Chat and Copilot CLI, and let you in on the secrets that will help you harness its potential effectively. Together, we'll strike the perfect harmony between AI-driven coding and our intrinsic genius, optimizing our development workflow and elevating our coding prowess to new heights. #3 Coffee chat with documents as a service - from zero to hero (Reactor series- GenA
9:00 AM - 10:00 AM (UTC)
The introduction of ChatGPT, Whisper API, Azure Cognitive Services, and its orchestration tool such as Langchain, Semantic Kernel brings a lot of hype over AI and what we can build with AI, such as a document assistant. But are we ready to scale our AI project to meet further requirements and broader scenarios, such as handing multiple processes within a document question and answer flow, moderating the exchange content, or offering industry-specific answers with the existing codebase? How can we, as developers, leverage these tools to offer a better experience in documentation for developers as our users? Join my talk and let's find out. #4 Applied GenAI for Mere Mortals using LangChain (Reactor series- GenAI for SW)
9:00 AM - 10:00 AM (UTC)
In this session we will clear the fog surrounding the complexity of building generative AI (GenAI) applications. We start by breaking down the backbone of many GenAI systems: Large Language Models (LLMs). We'll explain them in a way that's surprisingly simple. Then, we'll explore how to turn these LLMs from abstract concepts into practical tools. This is where LangChain comes into play – it is a rich framework that streamlines the development of complex GenAI-based applications. Of course, not everything is sunshine and rainbows - we will also cover the gotchas of LangChain. To prepare you to the scary world outside, we will also touch on Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) briefly, which is often used in real world applications to incorporate additional sources of information. Like before, we’ll keep things abstract and simple, but demo it with real Python code that will make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside. By the end, you will see that the beast isn’t as scary as it seems. You will know the basic building blocks for building a GenAI app, which will hopefully push you to build the world’s smartest “Hello, World” app. This session is for software developers that are new to generative AI and need a first push to turn their curiosity into capability Ori Bar-ilan, Senior Software Engineer, Microsoft Session length: 45min +15min Q&A Visit Microsoft Learn to discover free AI learning courses - https://learn.microsoft.com/ai/?wt.mc_id=slidescontent_21718_webinar_reactor Register to the Whole Series- https://developer.microsoft.com/reactor/series/S-1273?wt.mc_id=slidescontent_21718_webinar_reactor If you signed up for this series, you probably won't want to miss this one either – https://developer.microsoft.com/reactor/series/S-1271?wt.mc_id=slidescontent_21718_webinar_reactor
