15 April, 2026 | 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM (UTC) Coordinated Universal Time

  • Format:
  • alt##LivestreamLivestream

Topic: Agents

Language: English

Join us for a fast kickoff to Azure Cosmos DB, then watch a live, end-to-end build in Visual Studio Code where we create a new Cosmos DB database and wire up an app using modern developer workflows.

We'll demo agent-based vibe coding with the Azure Cosmos DB Agent Kit, showing how it plugs into agent-compatible coding assistants (including GitHub Copilot in VS Code) to apply Cosmos DB best practices as you design data models, choose distribution strategies, and tune queries and indexing.

We’ll wrap with practical guidance on integrating Cosmos DB with other Azure services—skills that align directly to the Microsoft Certified: Azure Cosmos DB Developer Specialty (DP-420 certification).

What you’ll learn:
• What is and how to get started with Azure Cosmos DB
• Setting up your Azure Cosmos DB AI Development Kit (VS Code, GitHub Copilot Chat, Cosmos DB Extension, GitHub Copilot for Azure, Azure MCP – 3 points suggested
• Creating a CRUD application with natural language

Who should attend:
Developers building cloud-native applications who want to skill up on Azure Cosmos DB and learn modern, agent-assisted workflows in their IDE—plus anyone planning to attend Cosmos DB Conf or pursue the DP-420 Azure Cosmos DB Developer Specialty certification.
