JS AI Build-a-thon Launch Call

9 June, 2025 | 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM (UTC) Coordinated Universal Time

  • Format:
  • alt##LivestreamLivestream

Topic: Using AI Products

Language: English

Join the JS AI Build-a-thon to embark on unique developer quests designed for JavaScript and TypeScript developers. You'll build AI applications on Azure AI Foundry and deepen your understanding of AI technologies, tools, and frameworks.

Who this is for: Developers transitioning to AI Engineers
What you'll learn: Seamlessly integrate AI capabilities into web applications. The build-a-thon will guide you from having no experience with AI to building local AI prototypes and eventually deploying and extending AI applications on Azure.

What you'll do:

  • Build Local AI Prototypes with GitHub Models & AI Toolkit Extension (No azure account needed)
  • Migrate Prototype to Azure (GitHub Models → Azure AI Foundry)
  • Deploy Models and Use in Code with the Azure AI Foundry Extension
  • Connect to external data with RAG, add conversation history with LangChain.js
  • Build an AI Agent with Azure AI Foundry Extension

Find and join us in the #js-ai-build-a-thon channel under Hackathons!
