  • Format:
  • alt##LivestreamLivestream

Topic: Core AI

Language: English

This session explores building custom text classification models using Azure AI Language. Attendees will learn how to create projects, tag data, train models, and deploy them for use in applications. We'll cover different types of classification projects and provide practical exercises to build hands-on experience.

How do you think a Start-up will be benefited from this session?
Start-ups can leverage custom text classification to automate various tasks, including:
Customer support: Automatically categorize incoming support tickets based on topic or urgency.
Market research: Analyze customer feedback, social media posts, and online reviews to understand market trends and sentiment.
Content moderation: Filter inappropriate or offensive content on their platforms.
Lead qualification: Classify leads based on their likelihood of conversion.
This session empowers start-ups to build cost-effective solutions for these tasks, improving efficiency and providing valuable insights.

The session will focus on:
Understanding the prebuilt capabilities of the Azure AI Language service: An overview of the language understanding features and their applications in modern conversational models.
Understanding resources for building a conversational language understanding model: Setting up and configuring Azure resources to support conversational AI.
Defining intents, utterances, and entities: How to specify the purpose of a conversation, the words that users might say, and the entities they may refer to.
Using patterns to differentiate similar utterances: Techniques for managing variations in user input to ensure accurate understanding.
Using pre-built entity components: Leveraging existing entities like dates, times, numbers, and places for enhanced language understanding.
Training, testing, publishing, and reviewing a conversational language understanding model: Step-by-step process for setting up and refining a conversational model, including evaluation and deployment.
Hands-on Exercise: Participants will practice building and testing a conversational model in Azure, focusing on creating intents, entities, and utilizing patterns to handle different utterances.

What will the attendees or a Start-up learn from the session?
Attendees, including start-ups, will gain the following:
Skills to create and manage custom text classification projects in Azure AI Language.
Knowledge of different classification types and how to choose the right approach.
Practical experience in tagging data and training effective classification models.
Understanding of model evaluation metrics and how to improve model performance.
Ability to deploy and integrate classification models into their applications.
Ability to automate text processing tasks for increased efficiency and valuable insights.
