What is this session about?
In this session, we will explore how to build conversational AI applications using Azure services. We will discuss the benefits of using Azure services for building conversational AI applications and introduce the different Azure services.

Who is it aimed at?
The Game of Learners sessions are designed for students and individuals who are interested in learning about Azure AI and building end-to-end AI solutions. Whether you are new to AI or have some experience, these sessions will provide you with hands-on experience and practical knowledge of key AI concepts, tools, and processes. By the end of the sessions, you will be equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to build intelligent applications using Azure AI services, and have a better understanding of how to use AI to solve real-world problems.

Why should members attend?
By the end of the session, you will have hands-on experience with building a conversational AI application using Azure Bot Service and Cognitive Services and be familiar with the key tools and processes involved in this process.

Speaker: Shashidhar Reddy Javaji

Shashidhar Reddy Javaji is a driven and passionate Master's student in Computer Science at UMass Amherst, specializing in Data Science. With an insatiable curiosity for Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Natural Language Processing, Shashidhar has always been passionate about being part of tech communities and connecting with people. Shashidhar became a Microsoft Gold Student Ambassador in 2020, not just to gain knowledge and skills but also to network and connect with people who share his passion for technology. He believes that building meaningful connections within the tech community can lead to greater opportunities and growth for everyone involved. Throughout his academic career, Shashidhar has held several internships in machine learning, NLP, and data analysis, sharpening his skills and gaining hands-on experience. His research experience includes the publication of two conference papers related to AI, demonstrating his proficiency and expertise in the field. In addition to his academic achievements, Shashidhar is an accomplished and highly-regarded individual, having won several competitions and held leadership positions. He was the winner of the Megathon 2019, conducted by IIIT-Hyderabad, and also won the Smart India Hackathon 2020, India's biggest hackathon. He was the Qlik captain of Hyderabad for 2 years, showcasing his exceptional leadership skills. Beyond his technical abilities, Shashidhar is also an avid reader and chess player. He has a passion for traveling and exploring new places, which has given him a unique perspective on life and the world around him.
